Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: I've always felt this was Sam's story, not Frodo's. Frodo never really had a choice; the ring came to him. But Sam, he had a choice. He could have quit any time, but he doesn't. He fights orcs and Shelob and Gollum and he carries Frodo on his back, all out of loyalty and friendship. Yep, he's the real hero of this tale.
