March 18, 2001 - Marty and I stopped to show the new puppy off at some friends' and they immediately fell in love. I think it had something to do with the fact that she stayed quietly on the couch with us for hours.

March 18, 2001 - Lola was pretty worn out the first day she came to us. She wasted no time giving the dog beds a test drive. Notice her new buddy staying close...

Lola is a Doberman Pinscher, eleven weeks old when this picture was taken.
Her ears were cropped over a week before, they will need to be wrapped like this for several weeks until they have stiffened enough to stand on their own.

March 20, 2001: Yes, she's still asleep. I think she rolled off the dog bed and didn't even notice.

April 9, 2001 - Lola's a pretty self-sufficient puppy but she likes to cuddle when she's sleepy perhaps more than Joxer does.
